Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif - The New Best Friends?

Anushka Sharma's has gotten industry-savvy off late. She seems to have adopted the adage "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer". For we learnt of how the young Ms. Sharma has buried the hatchet with her 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' co-actress Katrina Kaif.

For the special screening of her film 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola', Anushka reportedly sent out a message to Katrina, and invited her for the screening to Yash Raj Studios. Katrina accepted her invite and ensured she attended the show. At the theatre, the two girls were seen "getting along like a house on fire,"
an eye-witness, revealed, "They were laughing, giggling and chatting."


To jog your memories of the infamous Anushka-Katrina wars: Anushka had unleashed the claws when it was apparently said that she wasn't Anurag Kashyap's first choice for 'Bombay Velvet'

At the time, she was of course alluding to 'reports' that suggested that Katrina was the first choice for 'Bombay Velvet', which also stars Ranbir Kapoor.

Anushka had gone as far as lashing out at those people who she felt were responsible for 'planting' such stories. "Look at the guys (actors, she meant), they don't indulge in such things. And that's why I find it easier to be friends with them."
